Three-time Tony nominee Kelli O'Hara will join Tony winner Matthew Broderick in the upcoming musical Nice Work If You Can Get It. The musical, directed by Kathleen Marshall, features the music of George and Ira Gershwin and a book by Joe DiPietro. It is set to begin performances in April 2012 at a theater to be announced.
O'Hara earned Tony nominations for South Pacific, The Pajama Game and The Light in the Piazza. She has also appeared on Broadway in Dracula, Sweet Smell of Success, Follies and Jekyll & Hyde. Her TV and film credits include Sex and the City 2, Numb3rs and Blue Blood. O'Hara has released two solo albums, Always and Wonder in the World.
Set in the 1920s, Nice Work If You Can Get It follows tough bootlegger Billie Bendix (O'Hara) as she meets up with wealthy playboy Jimmy Winter (Broderick) on the weekend of his wedding.
